SG 1895 USA Showcases Tiffany Gemstone Lamps at the 2013 National Geoscience Conference in Malaysia
Jun. 22, 2013 – CERRITOS, Calif. — On June 8, 2013, TSG 1895 USA’s Far East office in Malaysia displayed a selection of the company’s unique products – Tiffany-inspired lampshades, lamp bases, framed backlit gemstone Tiffany-style wall art, and framed backlit gemstone mosaic wall art handcrafted from polished gemstones – at the prestigious 2013 National Geoscience Conference, the leading geoscientific event in Malaysia. Geoscientists from academia as well as the public and private sectors attended the annual conference – organized by The Geological Society of Malaysia – which serves as a platform for geoscientists to present and discuss new findings and compelling research in their fields.
Established in 1967, The Geological Society of Malaysia promotes the professional, scientific, and academic endeavors of its members and the advancement of the geosciences in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. TSG 1895 USA’s Far East office in Malaysia was honored to participate in the 2013 National Geoscience Conference and exhibit the company’s rare gemstone creations to an audience of geoscientists and gemologists whose expertise places them in a unique position to appreciate TSG 1895 USA™ gemstone creations, composed of jade, agate, quartz, aquamarine, and scores of other varieties of natural earth stones.
During the conference, TSG 1895 USA’s Far East office in Malaysia hosted a booth, where staff members welcomed scientists, university professors, graduate students, business professionals, and others who stopped to admire the beauty and craftsmanship of the TSG 1895 USA™ gemstone art nouveau products on display – each featuring hundreds or even thousands of polished gemstones. Visitors included (see image 1 above): Perak State Finance Officer, Y.B. Dato’ Haji, Gazali bin Jalal (examining the rock); Director of the Department of Mineral and Geoscience, Dato’ Haji Yunus Bin Abdul Razak (first from left, in grey suit); JMG Director for Perak branch, Dr. Kamaludin b. Hassan (3rd from right in blue tie); JMG Deputy Director for Perak branch, Tuan Rusli b. Tuan Mohamed (far right); and President of the Geological Society of Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Joy Jacqueline Pereira.
Personnel from TSG 1895 USA’s Far East office in Malaysia explained to visitors that the company’s artisan creations are unique – because no two gemstones are alike – as well as high-value, collectible, limited edition, and investment quality. The TSG 1895 USA™ staff also explained that, unlike traditional stained glass Tiffany lamps, TSG 1895 USA™ gemstone fine art creations are completely lead-free. Each TSG 1895 USA™ product comes with a certificate of authenticity that establishes its value and origin as a limited edition fine art collectible.
